Harrison’s Cave

Harrisons-Cave-3

The cave has been open since 1981 as a tourist attraction. It is a place where you see a beautiful crystal limestone cavern. Flowing streams, deep pools of crystal clear water and towering columns characterize this living cave. Visitors are driven in electrically operated trams down through the extensive system of caves and at the lowest level point in the cave, they are invited to leave the tram and walk alongside a spectacular waterfall which plunges into a deep pool below…. this is truly an “awesome wonder!” Excellent tour guides give all the historical information on this cave along the way.

Bottom Bay

Barbados-Paradise-Bottom-bay-web

Considered by many as home to ‘the most impressive beach on the island’, Bottom Bay is located on the South East Coast of Barbados, in the parish of St. Philip. It is an attractive remote cove with a picturesque beach, partly bordered by rough jagged cliffs – the perfect place if you’re seeking that ‘desert island’ atmosphere. Coconut palms sway in the soft breezes, soaring cliffs and intriguing caves, shimmering translucent turquoise waves roll gently onto the seashore, wide stretches of powder soft golden white sand… a tropical paradise. These cliffs also provide visitors with spectacular walks that carry the additional prospect of spotting turtles and whales in the waters below.
